I had the opportunity to attend the Black Panther UK Premiere and I wrote about how much Pride it gave me as a Nigerian-British woman being in a room full of other Black British creatives, watching something for our community.

I got the opportunity to go to a private press screening of a film by one of my favourite Directors, Gurinder Chadha and I wrote about it for gal-dem.

I wrote this for gal-dem after a student in Kent was told by her teacher to take her braids out. I interviewed her mum and spoke to the headteacher about the anti-blackness embedded in the school rules.

Beyonce's 2016 Album, Lemonade had a big impact on how I saw myself from a non-biblical perspective. It inspired me to continue to be be the unapologetic, loud and creative woman that I am and to continue to bask in all my black girl magic. So. I decided to write about it for the awesome gal-dem magazine.
